Eejit’s Guide – The Monthly Investing Challenge

I’m starting a new series where every month I’ll invest $200, split evenly across 4 areas:

Dividend stocks → steady income plays

S&P 500 ETF → broad market exposure

Popular stocks → big names everyone knows

My own forex trades → sharing my personal picks

That’s $50 into each bucket, every single month. The goal? To stay consistent, learn as I go, and show how small, regular investing can grow over time.

This Month’s Picks

Dividend Stocks (income builders):

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) – A healthcare leader with decades of reliable dividends.

Coca-Cola (KO) – An everyday brand that’s been rewarding shareholders for generations.

Popular Stocks (household names):

Apple (AAPL) – The iPhone giant that keeps delivering.

Microsoft (MSFT) – A backbone of tech with strong cloud and AI growth.

S&P 500 ETF:

SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) → A simple way to own a piece of the 500 biggest U.S. companies.

Forex (my own trades):

I’ll share updates on positions, wins, and lessons learned here. I will be trying to beat the returns of the 3 areas, utilising Forex trading.
